Parco delle Rimembranze is located on a hill south of the city centre between Via San Bernardino and Viale Madonna del Colle.

Parco delle Rimembranze

It is a small park, created in the 1920s and dedicated to the memory of those who died during the First World War, where a plaque with the name of a fallen soldier was attached to each tree in the original design. The place name in fact evokes in one's memory the people, situations and feelings of the soldiers who died or went missing during the Great War and other wars of the past. The area develops on the ridge of a hill along the axis of an avenue bordered by ornamental trees (cypresses), with lawn or garden areas furnished with benches, drinking fountains and a votive cippus (cross). The avenue begins at the Church of the Madonna del Colle and after a distance of approximately 125 m ends in front of the votive cippus. Today it is a public garden for recreation and walking.

In the part below the park, the entrance to an air-raid shelter can be seen.
