It houses around four hundred items including historical relics from various epochs, bayonets, armament material (firearms and their parts), equipment and ammunition parts and devices.

Sacrario delle Armi

Particularly interesting is the series of bayonets, starting with a court sword from the 18th century and ending with a large number of bayonets from the First World War as well as many sabres and daggers from full dress uniforms.

Among the most interesting pieces are a part of the propeller rotor of a British Spitfire, which was hit over the skies of Terni during one of the many bombings in 1943 and which crashed on the meadows of Stroncone; a sheet of Negus's letterhead; a piece (the node of the metal truss) of an Italian airship from the First World War (Forlanini model).

Above all, the photographic reproduction of a letter written by an officer from Stroncone, a prisoner of the Austrians and sent to his father by another prisoner, given back by Austria in 1917, is remarkable. Between the lines written in black ink, the officer had written others in lemon juice, in which he tells the story of the fate of soldiers who had fallen into enemy hands.
